Why is this website so basic?
This website has been setup using the CoffeeCup HTML editor, one of the most successful HTML editors around. This is exactly the kind of website you can set up for your business with the training in web design we will give you. It may not be a fancy website but it works just fine. This kind of site is highly visible to search engines like Google and Ask, some of the sites with advanced features aren't friendly to the search engines at all. The main thing is that by keeping it simple and teaching you the underlying principles of how web sites work we are giving you the ability to add to and update your website whenever you wish
Who are we?
We are Alan Culpitt and Jan Broderick. And we run our own web design partnership. A lot of our customers aren't happy working with computers and prefer to let us take the strain. Others want advanced features on their site like e-commerce or embedded calendars and video. Many of our customers are however fine with working on computers and we figured that to teach them to build their own websites, rather than building one for them would be a better way to go. The customer gets better value for money and, when they want those advanced tricky features, they are likely to come back to us for them. So everybody wins!
What happens if you break the site after your training course?
If you stick the to simple basic principles we teach you, you shouldn't break your website, it should just grow and change with your business. Web browsers like Internet Explorer are very forgiving and can cope with some basic errors without the browsing public ever noticing. If it really all goes horribly wrong then give us a call on 01670 786179. We don't have any kind of support contract. We will start a stopwatch when the call starts and stop it once your website is fixed. We charge £22 per hour to help you out (that's about 37p per minute). If you don't break your site you don't pay.
